My name is Rishi K. Saxena. I am a practicing cardiologist for the last 15 years, serving 13 years here in Murfreesboro,TN. I see patients every day who can't afford health care. They end up avoiding regular medical check-ups and instead wait until they have had a heart attack or other major medical catastrophe to see a doctor.

You don't have to be involved in the health care field to know that it has become extraordinarily difficult to get affordable health care that also covers all your medical needs. The cost of insurance premiums, co-pays and deductibles keep increasing every year while health coverage keeps decreasing. A patient now has to choose between medical care and a bag of groceries. I find that unacceptable.

This is why I have decided to run for the office of House of Representative -34 District -TN. My primary urgent mission is to achieve health care for all Tennesseans. My other urgent missions are no state income tax and keeping Tennessee's jobs where they belong--right here in Tennessee. If you too believe that the health care should be affordable, that income tax has become excessive, and that our jobs need to be protected, then please support my campaign.
